Birth Stories, Astrology & the Missing Archetype

Working through your Birth Story with Chart Reading &

how Artemis may be the missing link

Too many women experience deeply traumatic births—often at the hands of OBGYNs, and frequently within hospital settings.

Sometimes these experiences radicalize mothers, but usually only after a harrowing postpartum period—marked by anxiety, depression, rage, and confusion.

While medical interventions are certainly a major factor (and of course have their place during emergencies), I’ve come to realize that something deeper and simpler is often at play.

Where Is the Village in the Boss-Bitch Era?

Many women I know who give birth in their late 30s or early 40s lack a strong sense of the village—a circle of women to hold their hands as they cross the threshold from Maiden to Mother.

Growing up in the “boss bitch” era, many of us prioritize our careers and live far from family. As a result, motherhood isn't learned or shared—it’s often handed straight to medical professionals to manage.

And when things don’t go as expected, women are left to pick up the pieces alone, confused by their birth experience.

How did this happen to me?
How did I end up with an unnecessary C-section?
How could something so natural go so poorly?

What We Were Never Told

Too often, it’s only after a traumatic birth that we begin to uncover the truth:

That we are capable.
That our bodies are made for this.

In Walks Artemis

In Greek mythology, Artemis is the goddess of the wild, the moon, and childbirth.

She is the protector of women, especially those crossing thresholds:
from girl to woman,
from maiden to mother.

She walks women through wild, sacred transformations
and in our modern lives, she’s the missing archetype we desperately need.

My Journey

As I’ve listened to over a hundred birth stories, given birth myself, prepared for a second, and deepened my knowledge of the birth world and fertility health over the past few years, I find myself merging that knowledge with my Astrology practice.

🌕 The Offering

Even if your birth occurred years ago,
it’s never too late to process that sometimes wonderful, sometimes harrowing day—
by looking at the transits on the day your child was born.

Because it’s not just about their arrival.
It’s about your transformation.
You, becoming a mother, the best mother you can be.

It’s not too late to have your hand held
as you process the sacred guidance you may have never received.

Together, we can explore what was missing,
what was beautiful,
and begin to reclaim your story.
